Sophia Peer
New York based director and artist Sophia Peer was born in Queens, New York, in 1980. She received her B.A. from SUNY Purchase (2002) and her M.F.A. from the School of Visual Arts, New York, NY (2006). Peer has directed music videos for Yeasayer, Woods, Delicate Steve, Ponytail and Air Waves, and directed promos for MTV and Pitchfork. Most recently her work has been shown at Louis V. ESP Gallery, Kate Werble Gallery, Horton Gallery, Canada Gallery and Envoy Gallery.
