AFTER YOU LEFT –– a short film directed and edited by Jef Taylor –– will be screening in NYC as part of the FilmGym Screening Series on Friday, February 24th. This will likely be the last public screening of the film after a very successful 2011 festival run; which included Sundance, Sao Paulo, Nashville, and IFF Boston. Admission is only $5.

A man in his mid-thirties searches for meaning in the aftermath of a relationship.
AFTER YOU LEFT embraces the fine line between art and life––between the story being told and the lives of those telling it. The result is a uniquely realistic and intimate portrait of love and loss, as well as a profoundly personal reflection of the moment in which it was made.
". . . a real gem. Painfully funny, exquisitely acted, acutely observed. So nuanced and utterly true."
–Doug Wright (Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning writer of "Quills" and "Grey Gardens")
